This was the second time I camped at the North Rim Campground. The first time was not in the tent section, and this time I opted to try the tent only area. As with my first camping experience here, I found the North Rim campground to be a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The North Rim is often quieter and more peaceful than what you'll find at the South Rim, and that held true this time around. I do prefer the main campground sites better than the tent campground sites, as many of them are under denser tree cover and larger in size. And, privacy is not the greatest in the tent area. The sites are out in the open, and somewhat close to one another. Regardless, it was still a joy to camp here. The campground has lots of great amenities like showers, laundry, a well stocked general store, and even a gas station. Very needed and welcome in such an isolated region. I know the Dragon Bravo Fire of 2025 wiped out this campground and nearby visitor services, so changes are in the future, the campground may be reconfigured and this review obsolete.
