Site 5, as you can see from the drive thru snippet above, is hard to see from the road, and that's because it's nicely tucked away in the pinyon pine and juniper trees. It, and a neighboring site, are the most private sites in this small campground. Some might argue the campground is light on amenities (only vault toilets, for example), but for us, it's an example of a great campground. The site itself has a couple tent pads, which are nice and level and helpful for tent campers like me. There were only a couple other guests during my stay, and I bet it's nice and quiet most of the time. The nearby area is one of Utah's finest, and you're right on the doorstep of Bears Ears National Monument too! This is a superb place to stay in an otherwise remote region!!!
