This was my first overnight at Coral Pink. I camped in a tent at site 17. Site 17 was very nice, had lots of level ground to pitch my tent (though no tent pad, which is fine). The campsite was very well-manicured and modern. The picnic table was built on a concrete foundation, which is a nice touch. The bathrooms have flushing toilets and running water, and even showers! The showers appeared recently updated and clean. The visitor center provides some simple things, like ice and firewood (may vary depending on time of year), and has t-shirts and gifts, and a few cold drinks, along with sand board rentals and drone permits. The campground is split into two main areas, and I prefer the section I stayed in (sites 1-22). This section has more shade and tree cover (by way of junipers and pinyon pines), compared to the rest of the campground, which is exposed to the sun. The other area is good for large RVs, and while my section was also good for RV's, its better for tents. This campground ranks high on my list of southern Utah campgrounds. A must-stay!

Site 17 is an excellent campsite. It was my first camping experience at Coral Pink. I found that like all sites, 17 was very clean. I enjoyed how the picnic table is on a level concrete foundation. As a tent camper, there was plenty of level ground (in sandy terrain) to pitch a tent. There was shade provided by some of the junipers and small pines on the landscape at certain times of the day, but at other times, it was pretty sunny. I noticed some sites have shade shelters, but others (like 17) do not. The bathrooms appeared updated, and were immaculate in terms of cleanliness. Same with the showers (a very welcome amenity). Other guests were very quiet and well behaved, making for a pleasant stay. Site 17 also has a long, pull through drive way, and looked good for RV's (though no hookups at this site). The visitor center also had simple things like ice, and cold drinks.
