I am doing something I don't often do... reviewing a site that I have not camped in overnight. I have stayed in two different sites in Arch Rock, with over a week of camping time under my belt here. On many trips, I have scoped out site 22 and stood within it. Back before Arch Rock had online reservations, this was the first site I checked upon arrival. It's located on the backside of the loop, with only a couple sites near it. It's tucked away deep in the red rocks, and is almost completely surrounded by them. Maybe one of the most private campsites ever. It's such a unique site, and it's the first I would look for if trying to book a reservation. The only thing I predict that could sour an experience is, site 23 is right across the street, so I imagine a loud group could be disruptive, but have not experienced that first hand here. And, you're a bit of a walk from the nearest vault toilet. Other than that, this site seems like a must-pick if you are lucky enough to find it vacant.
